The businesswoman from Rio de Janeiro, Flavia Leal, is proof that dreaming does not determine where you are getting, but it gives you the strength to move from the place you are. It was like this over 12 years ago when she arrived in the United States, achieving her childhood dream of going to another country and seeking a victorious life.
Flavia Leal pushed through all the setbacks in life and prepared for success, step-by-step. The determination to defeat overcame the obstacles that came up. In the United States, after stopping pedagogy studies in Brazil, she followed the same path as all the people who come in search of the American dream. But destiny left Flavia Leal with another necessity: to help her sick mother go through the most difficult moments of her life.
During this period, with the reduction of work hours, the Carioca took several courses of makeup, esthetics, and others, finished college in the United States and kick-started a new business: the Institute Flavia Leal.
Three years after it was founded, the Institute, located in Woburn, had already trained hundreds of professionals specializing in beauty and esthetics. Her courses broke the American borders and landed in Europe, where Flavia Leal has already taught classes in France, England, and Austria. In 2013, with the intention of expanding the activities, Flavia Leal made another business venture, acquiring the former Beauty Creators Academy, a hairdressing school that had been operating for 53 years in the city of Everett, Massachusetts. With this acquisition, the Institute also began to offer the hairdressing course.
With the stablished brand in the United States, Flavia Leal decided to take to her native land what she had learned to do abroad, starting the activities in a franchise system in Brazil.
